This Boston-Edison home that underwent a renovation in 2014 garnered a lot of feedback from our readers. Listing for $348,000, some thought that might be too high of a price to be located so far west in the historic district. Many appreciated the thought and care that went into the renovation. Others wondered about the “weird decks and after-thought additions” often seen on homes in this neighborhood.
We really just appreciated the style.

The house is 3,422 square feet with four bedrooms, two and a half baths, built-ins surrounding the living room fireplace, soaring beams, an additional room on the third floor, sun rooms, and a garage in the back. It listed for $348,000 in April and just sold for $360,000. Earlier, this knockout renovation became the largest sale west of the Lodge in decades at $340,000. Looks like we have a new leader. Here’s a look inside this exceptional home.
