Here’s what $75K can buy you in Detroit right now

In today’s Curbed Comparisons, we’re looking around the city to find homes for sale for $75,000 or below. This is getting more difficult to pull together, especially this time of year at this price point. Have you seen a great house for sale lately? Send us a note!

Some of these homes need work, while others are recently renovated. They range in from $54,000 up to $75,000. Which would you choose?

↑ This recently renovated house in Grandmont Rosedale has two bedrooms, one bath, a basement for storage, and a big front porch. It’s listing for just $54,000.

↑ First up is this little brick bungalow in East English Village. It’s just under 1,000 square feet, with three bedrooms and one bath. The house has fresh paint and newer carpet and water heater. It’s listing for $59,900.

↑ This Boston-Edison home has been with the same family for many years and could use some updating. It’s 1,447 square feet, with three bedrooms and three baths. There’s plenty of carpet to rip up and plenty of ways to modernize the house. It’s listing for $64,900.

↑ If you’ve enjoyed the recent discussions about City Airport, here’s a house close to the action. This recently renovated ranch is 1,553 square feet, with three bedrooms and three baths. It’s move-in ready and listing for $75,000.

↑ This old farmhouse is located up in Redford Township and it needs so much work. It’s 2,800 square feet with six bedrooms, four and a half baths, a big front porch, and plenty of yard. It will take a lot of work, but this could be a beautiful home again. It’s listed for $54,900.
