It’s historic home tour season in Detroit and one of the biggest is this weekend, June 10-11. The Historic Indian Village Home and Garden Tour is the second oldest tour of its kind in the state (only Marshall’s has been held longer), and this year the tour will feature six Arts & Crafts homes, churches, antique cars, and more.
Tickets are $25 for a single day. Tickets purchased online run $22.50. A tour with a guide will cost $10 extra and the guide will discuss more of the neighborhood on the tour.
On Saturday, the tour goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while Sunday’s tour is 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The tour is mainly self-guided, with the homes open to tour guests. Here’s a peek at some of the homes that will be featured this year.
This will be the 44th year for the tour. The neighborhood consists of Burns, Iroquois, and Seminole from Mack to Jefferson Avenue. More information on the tour can be found here.
