The first of a few Mies van der Rohe co-ops has listed this week. We’ve seen very few on the market this year, after so many listed and sold in 2016. Built in the late 1950s, this co-op community is located in an idyllic green setting, with close proximity to downtown, Eastern Market, and the Riverfront. The townhouses are 1,400 square feet, with three bedrooms, one and a half baths, floor to ceiling windows, and a basement. This unit was renovated last year and it’s listing for $364,900.

The layout of all the units is similar, with each adding their own unique design. This unit has light wood floors, a white kitchen, and very neutral tones throughout. The HOA fee is $714 a month, which covers property taxes, water, basic cable, grounds maintenance for lawn and snow removal, HVAC, roof, window cleaning, and security. It’s listed through Jason Hill at Historic Realty Detroit. Questions about co-op living and Lafayette Park can be answered at Mies Detroit.
