This eclectic University District home with a gorgeous landscaped yard listed in May for $192,500. Albeit a little small for the neighborhood, this house was in great shape and had a lodge/cabin-type feel to a lot of it. Many of our readers thought it would go quickly and for more than asking. Indeed, it just closed for $225,900.

The location for the Garden Lofts in Brush Park couldn’t be better for someone who wants their own space close to downtown, Midtown, and especially the arenas. It’s right off of Woodward, just a couple blocks away from both the Little Caesars Arena and Comerica Park. This one bed, one bath condo listed earlier this year for a whopping $399,999. We’re not quite there yet. It just closed for $310,000, or $304 per square foot.

Speaking of condos, this bi-level, two-bedroom condo in Woodbridge is located right on Trumbull, close to Wayne State and Midtown. It offered a lot of living space, although readers weren’t crazy about the finishings. It listed for $289,900 and just sold for asking price, at $193 per square foot.

Property has been moving quickly in East English Village this year, and we thought this little house was charming. Can’t beat a corner lot with a turret entry! It could definitely use some updating, but it had been maintained over the years. It listed for $109,900 and sold for $111,000.
