This East English Village home might be the most charming house we’ve seen this year. And much respect to whoever decided to park that car in the lead photo. EEV won the Curbed Cup last year, due in a large part to its strong neighborhood association. And, it’s simply a great neighborhood. We’ve seen some nice, reasonably-sized homes go up for sale this year, all selling fairly quickly. This three bedroom house seemed underpriced at $109,900. Indeed, it was. It just sold for $125,000.
This house has great curb appeal, a retro kitchen, and it was completely move-in ready. Our readers agreed on this one, noting:
“gorgeous! someone should get an award for that staging”
“I like that they kept the original kitchen cupboards. Nice house.”
“Beautiful house and a great Buick. Priced low?”
But of course, we had a few who didn’t like the distance from downtown or the bathroom sink. One easy fix, one preference. We get it. Here’s one last look at this charming house.
