Dreaming of that Up North vacation spot of your very own? A 20-acre estate in Harbor Springs is skipping the traditional sales approach and instead offering the property up for auction. What’s unusual about this auction is that there’s no minimum bid, no reserve.

The gated property will go up for bid on September 2, with open houses scheduled through August. The 2007-built estate includes horse stables, a paddock, a 10,000-square-foot indoor riding arena, barn, riding pastures, a guest cabin that sleeps six, workshop, and trout pond. The main house is 6,700 square feet, with so much wood, a master suite plus four other bedrooms, a high-end kitchen, and a breakfast nook that overlooks the pond. The estate has views of the Pleasantview Valley, Nub’s Nob, and Boyne Highlands.

The owners have personal experience selling properties at auction, which is why they chose this method for sale. The property was valued at $1.3 million in 2015. The auction will be open to the public, and interested parties can email mcteviaauctions@gmail.com. Here’s a look around.
