In downtown Flint, Michigan, there are plans to demolish the McCree Parking Ramp in order to construct a surface parking lot. MLive reported that the work will cost $65,000.
The ramp closed this past April after engineering reports deemed the upper levels of the early 1960s structure unsafe.
Genesee County Board of Commissioners Coordinator Josh Freeman told MLive that he hopes for the demolition work to begin this Friday.
