Another big recognizable building has hit the market in Detroit. Located on one of our favorite blocks—a block that’s seen many new businesses open in the past couple years—the five story corner Viola Building just listed. The 20,000-square-foot building, dating back to 1923 and renovated in 2014, is asking $1,995,000.

The building is located on the corner of Gratiot and Russell, right across from the Busy Bee Hardware building that sold earlier this year. It’s home to the Discount Candle store on the first floor, and live/work space on the floors above. The office spaces have wide open floor plans (how many white couches can fit in here?) We also just like taking a peek into different offices and checking out the views of downtown from the higher floors. It’s listed through O’Connor Real Estate.
