Last week, we checked in on what $240,000 can buy you across Detroit right now. A nicely-restored home on Atkinson was the clear winner. This week in our Curbed Comparisons, we’re slashing our budget in half and taking a look at what $120,000 can get you, give or take $10,000.
Our first stop takes us to the Bagley neighborhood. The three bedroom, one and a half bath house still has some original details, plus some newer renovations. The basement has its own bar area, and the backyard is fenced and has a garage. It’s listed for $115,000.
This next home is a recently renovated one bedroom, one bath co-op at 1300 East Lafayette. It’s located on the second floor and has tasteful, modern updates. It’s close to everything downtown, along the Riverfront, and Eastern Market. It’s listing for $110,000 with $936 in HOA fees (includes property taxes, A/C, building amenities, maintenance, and more).
Here’s another flipped home over in the Bagley neighborhood. This three bedroom, one and a half bath house has open living spaces, lots of storage in the kitchen, and some original details left. It’s listed for $129,000.
This cute East English Village home is back on the market. The three bedroom, one bath house has great curb appeal, a fenced yard, and a garage. It’s on the market for $130,000.
