Open thread: Which Detroit development projects are you looking forward to?

Summer is coming to an end and we should see quite a few developments around Detroit open in the coming months. Of course, the first is the highly anticipated, often debated Little Caesars Arena, starts its preview week after Labor Day. After that, we should see some residential projects nearing the finish line, including 28 Grand and the Plaza. By the end of the year, we could see The Siren Hotel at the Wurlitzer Building open.

What a time to be in Detroit.

As we start previewing what’s to come this year and into 2018, we’d like to know which projects you’re looking forward to the most.

Is it the renovation of a long-vacant building, like the Metropolitan? Is it new construction on vacant land, like the Monroe Blocks or City Modern? Or maybe it’s something transformative, like the Hudson’s site or the East Riverfront development.
