Indian Village fixer upper asks $295K

The price of ownership for a fixer upper in Detroit varies greatly between neighborhoods. We’ve seen some higher asks over in Boston-Edison this year, and now we have a home that’s on the small side for the neighborhood available over in Indian Village. It still has some original details. It’s not too big, not too small, and it’s listing for $295,000.

That’s still over $100 per square foot for this three bedroom, two and a half bath home. You can find many finished homes for that price in other neighborhoods. Times are a changing, y’all. The listing states that there’s a new furnace and a new garage door. The kitchen and baths give the new owner plenty of opportunity for their own unique design. There’s also a wide-open third floor space. We’re loving the porch in front, seeing as there aren’t many in the neighborhood. It’s located on Seminole right off Kercheval, near the shops and restaurants in West Village.
