Hubbard Farms has been a hot neighborhood in Detroit this year, and we’re starting to see these great houses sell for prices ranging from $230K to $277K. Now we have a house that needs all the work (the listing says to bring a flashlight), but it has good bones, as they say. It also has adjacent property and it’s located right by Clark Park. The price for this duplex is $149,900.

The 2,844-square-foot upper/lower duplex needs new systems and plenty of sprucing up inside. But the house is full of nice woodwork throughout; from the floors to the built-ins to the trim, it’s nice to see the wood in such good condition. The rooms seem spacious, with lovely windows in front. And what could the new owner do with the surrounding lots? It’ll be interesting to see what this goes for and the impending rehab. Do you think this is a fair price, Curbed readers? It’s listed through O’Connor Real Estate.
