With a garage, soon

The Tudor-heavy neighborhood of the University District has some of the most beautiful homes in Detroit. Many of these houses showcase awesome leaded glass windows, detailed woodwork, and pride of ownership over the years. The neighborhood has a strong community group, home tours, and an enviable location near the many businesses along the Avenue of Fashion and Ferndale. Its neighbors include the mansions of Palmer Woods, the Detroit Golf Club, and Sherwood Forest.

This latest listing has great curb appeal, an impressive fireplace in the living room, an updated kitchen, a wood-paneled den, four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a basement for storage, and apparently, a new garage on the way. It still has some original charm, but could certainly use some design flair in the living areas and sprucing up of the backyard. This house was flipped a few years ago, and has changed hands recently. Will it find a long-term owner this time around? It’s listed through Carlos Turner at Dwellings by Rudy & Hall for $325,000.
