Over 200 small businesses and 50 food trucks will be open in Eastern Market on Sunday, November 4 for All Things Detroit, a local shopping event that promotes and features Michigan-based retailers. The event draws over 12,000 shoppers to the historic market.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in sheds 3, 4, and 5. General tickets are $5; a $15 ticket gets early entry (9:30 a.m.), a tote bag, and food and beverage vouchers.

Shoppers can expect a wide variety of products available for purchase, from greeting cards to gourmet food to specialty artwork to upcycled home decor.

Started by Jennyfer Crawford, All Things Detroit is developed by Ask Jennyfer, a firm that helps promote and brand small businesses. An online marketplace showcases these businesses throughout the year.

It seems early, but Thanksgiving is three weeks away, the holiday tree will arrive in Campus Martius next week, and more local holiday shopping events and pop-ups should be opening soon. ‘Tis the season.
