Armchair football coaches, rejoice! Now’s your chance to call the game from the home of former Lions head coach, Jim Caldwell. It’s a new era in Detroit football, as Matt Patricia was formally announced as the new head coach last week. Caldwell, who coached the Lions since 2014, purchased this Franklin home the same year. Looking through the house, you can certainly see a pride in ownership, along with the Honolulu blue in the basketball court. The expansive home, which sits on over an acre, is listed for $2,499,000.

This newer-build has a castle-like exterior; inside, find a grand foyer, stained glass, and great wood beams. A 3,500-square-foot lower level includes the basketball court, a game room with billiards, and a full kitchen. The living area on the main level has a formal dining room, a breakfast nook, a chef’s kitchen, a prep kitchen, and huge windows overlooking the property. This house has a lot of places to prepare and eat food. Outside, there’s a multi-level deck in the back, along with a four-car garage. It’s a property fit for a king, or a coach. Has Matt Patricia found a new place yet?
