In this past year, we’ve seen a wide range of prices for Boston-Edison homes, from the million dollar mansions along Boston Boulevard to overpriced fixer uppers to recently renovated houses west of the Lodge in the $300-400K range. This new listing is perhaps a unicorn in the neighborhood—a reasonably priced, updated, move-in ready house. The price? $244,900.

The exterior could use some landscaping this spring, and out back there’s a balcony and small deck. Inside, find new plumbing and electrical, new kitchen and bathrooms, three bedrooms, a comfortable living room, an unfinished basement, and modern light fixtures through the house. The listing says there’s also a new roof and new A/C units; there’s also a garage in the back. It’s coming in at 2,100 square feet, smaller than many Boston-Edison homes. It looks to be a solid house in an area where more renovations are taking place. Take a look and tell us what you think.
