Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we usually look at houses in different Detroit neighborhoods in the same price range. This week, we’re taking a look at a few homes for sale in one of Detroit’s most popular neighborhoods: the University District. Which would you choose? Vote in our poll below.

18284 Muirland Street, $297,000
First up is a handsome home right in the middle of the neighborhood. It comes in at 2,500 square feet, with four bedrooms, two and a half baths, a new kitchen, hardwood floors, built-ins, a fireplace, and big windows in the living and dining rooms. It also has a basement for storage and a patio and balcony.

18045 Parkside Street, $250,000
Next up is this very recently renovated, castle-like home on Parkside. It has 3,000 square feet with a spiral staircase, new kitchen and bathrooms, four bedrooms, built-ins in the dining room, and a big fireplace in the living room. Pictures show that the work wasn’t quite done when they shot it. This one sits closer to the Detroit Golf Club.

18433 Muirland, $339,000
This 3,000-square-foot home was also recently renovated, and has some nice details including lighted cabinets in the dining room, stained-glass windows, original tiling in the bathrooms, and a fireplace in the living room. It has a new kitchen, carpeting, sky lights, a suite on the third floor, and a finished basement. We also like the turret on the side.
