Just north of the Huron River, this midcentury modern home—designed by Ann Arbor architects Van Curler Associates—is listing for sale for the first time. Built in 1962, the house sits on a lush, landscaped plot with easy access to river trail. The house was even featured on the front of the Ann Arbor News in 1968, boasting “spectacular views.” It looks like it hasn’t been touched since. It’s listing now for $625,000.

Inside, find original tiling in the bathrooms and kitchen, an open staircase, three bedrooms, storage, and light carpeting. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room bring in tons of natural light to the space, as do the skylights in the kitchen. With the greenery surrounding the home, it almost feels like they’re bringing the outside in. The back of the house has both a balcony and a patio for entertaining, and the lot has many mature trees and plants. Recent updates include a new roof, central air, and exterior and interior paint. Might it find an owner to take care of it for another 50 years? It’s listed through Lisa Ridha at Reinhart Realtors.
