The Albert Kahn-designed Parke Davis pharmaceutical company building has some of the loveliest lofts available in Detroit. Converted into residential in 2002, the complex boasts high ceilings, exposed brick, and big windows, all in a historical building close to the Riverwalk. It’s easy to bike to Belle Isle, it’s close to the Villages, and it’s a short drive or bike downtown.

Lofts often list for over $500,000 here. This new listing is a bit smaller than some others at 1,160 square feet, but still has a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop balcony. Fun! It also has a huge custom copper irregularly-shaped table in the kitchen, newer finishes in that kitchen, and an open living space. Also find exposed duct work, a rolling library ladder next to the book shelves on the living room wall, and a vintage rolling closet door. It looks sparse and ready to customize, but with its own unique style. The loft also has a storage unit and garage parking. It’s listed through Randall Fogelman at O’Connor Real Estate.
