See what you can get in neighborhoods like Jefferson-Chalmers, North Rosedale Park, and the North End

Welcome to this week’s installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can buy for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. This week we’re looking at home sales at or around $225,000.

This unique home has lots of striking details throughout, including the stone bay windows, landscaping, and half-timbering on the exterior. Inside, there’s bright crown molding, stucco walls, a huge fireplace in the living room, wide entryways, a kitchen with a passthrough and breakfast nook, and much more.

Rivertown

A 740-square-foot condo in Spinnaker Tower near the Riverwalk is listed with Matt O’Laughlin of Alexander Real Estate Detroit for $207,409. On the 16th floor of the tower, this one-bedroom unit offers great views of downtown. North End

It’s part of a series of home renovations and new-builds across several streets in the North End meant to add density.
