We’ve featured a lot of impressive gut renovations lately. This one in La Salle Gardens, which just hit the market for $389,000, is yet another example of a Detroit home brought back from the brink.

Built in 1922, the 2,940-square-foot home just completed an eight-month, down-to-the-studs renovation. “Before” photos show partially boarded up windows, missing walls, and extensive ceiling damage.

As you’d expect, the home now has a completely new roof, gutters, windows, hardwood floors, insulation, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. All the walls are painted white for easy personalization.

You’ll also find a modern kitchen with an island and nicely appointed bathrooms. The master bedroom has some built-in shelving and a walk-out deck overlooking the backyard. The finished third floor could be an artist studio or yet another living space. It also has four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a detached garage.
