Our favorite designer couple strikes again!

Even in the middle of winter, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas are still hard at work renovating homes. The couple that specializes in buying modest homes, mostly in northwest Detroit, then doing quality renovations and selling them at affordable prices, has just finished another.

(You can see more of their handiwork here and here.)

This time it’s a Cape Cod–style home in the Eight Mile Wyoming area that just hit the market for $109,900. At 1,100 square feet and four bedrooms, it’s one the larger homes they’ve worked on.

But it’s just as adorable and smartly designed as the rest. Outside, they removed the awnings and added ornamental wood shutters. There’s also some modest fencing to create a semi-private porch.

Inside, the kitchen has new cabinets, black concrete countertops, oak bar, and subway tile backsplash. They also opened it up to create a flowing living/dining room space with refinished hardwood floors. There’s also a custom stairwell with a passthrough to the living room.

As with all their sales, the same vintage furniture used for staging can be added with purchase for an additional $3,000.

Their homes tend to go quick, so inquire ASAP if you’re interested. 19953 Ohio Street is listed with Ashley Mann of Hall & Hunter Realtors for $109,900.
