Another day, another listing from Bagley on Detroit’s northwest side. This neighborhood has some great housing stock, much of which has been getting rehabbed and listed of late.
This one on Greenlawn has one of the more unique and attractive facades in the area. The multi-colored brick exterior looks almost like tile. And there’s some subtle but impressive stone accents around the door and a couple of windows.
The inside of the 1,935-square-foot, three-bedroom home got a complete renovation this year. And we do mean complete: new electrical, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, windows, and paint job. None of the newer finishes or hardware are flashy, but they get the job done and there’s plenty of room to customize to taste.
According to the realtor, the basement was waterproofed and a roof installed not too long ago.
That said, there’s still some nice original details intact like the plaster crown molding, hardwood floors, marble fireplace, and a basement bar.
The price is definitely at the upper limit for Bagley, but for a move-in ready, remodeled home, it’s far from unreasonable. 17361 Greenlawn St is selling for $194,000.
