If you like exposed brick and beam in your live/work spaces, then you’ll be excited to hear that the Coyote Hawk building is for sale.

The building—constructed in 1914 to manufacture straw brooms—has a number of early industrial features like arched windows, exposed brick, and a loading dock.

After winning $45,000 Motor City Match grant in 2017, Coyote Hawk redeveloped the building into a co-working, gallery, and event space for “entrepreneurs in the creative sector.” Designs were done by Virtuoso Design + Build.

The 5,500-square-foot interior has a modern kitchen and spacious lounge area that admits lots of light and has attractive hardwood floors. Almost half the floor space is taken up by the gallery, which has first growth hardwood beams. There’s also offices and a conference room.

The building was outfitted with brand new HVAC, and electrical and plumbing systems.

The Coyote Hawk building on 3106 Bellevue Street is listed through O’Connor Real Estate for $550,000.
