Large sections of City Modern—Bedrock’s massive housing development in Brush Park—are still under construction. But one unit is already being resold for $1.6 million. Crain’s Detroit Business reported that the townhouses originally sold for between $536,450 and $761,960.

The home at 248 Alfred Street is listed through Kevin Hill at Alexander Real Estate Detroit.

The 2,450-square-foot, three-bedroom townhome has the look and feel of a modern condo. There’s high-end appliances, finishes, and fixtures, like the chevron tile in the master bathroom, hardwood floors, and equipment from Thermador and Restoration Hardware. It’s also a “smart” home, meaning all the lights, sound, and temperature can be controlled through an app.

The townhome has three floors, including a private two-car garage on the ground level. And there’s a 600-square-foot deck—with impressive views of the city—attached to a “penthouse” with a bar and commercial-grade wine cooler.

Of course, Brush Park is one of the best locations in the city, offering easy access to amenities in downtown and Midtown, as well as transit on Woodward Avenue. It’s also within a Neighborhood Enterprise Zone, which means lowered property taxes for the owner.

There’s a private broker open house on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
