The Palmer Park neighborhood is filled with beautiful, semi-secluded homes and multi-family apartment buildings from the first part of the 20th century. That’s why it’s always a treat when something from the area hits the market.

Places like this condo, which is in a stately brick and stone building on Covington Drive designed by Albert Kahn and built in 1925. It’s listed through O’Connor Real Estate for $299,000.

The spacious 2,639-square-foot unit was remodeled in 2007 and looks to be in great shape. It has 13 rooms, including three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. There’s even a kind of carpeted Florida room.

But the showpiece of the condo is certainly the living room: it’s got some arched, built-in shelving, hardwood floors, bay windows, a really nice fireplace.

Purchase of the condo comes with a secured parking spot. It’s also right across the street from Palmer Park and a quick jaunt to Ferndale.
