For years, there wasn’t much happening in Midtown just south of MLK along Woodward Avenue. Now, new stuff is opening all the time.

Take this unit in the Walker Lofts unit, which just hit the market, as an example. It’s listed through Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Loft Warehouse for $339,000.

The unit is right next to newer businesses like Pho Lucky, New Order Coffee Roasters, Bakersfield, and Grey Ghost. And it’s just a couple blocks away from Whole Food, Founders Brewing, and much more.

Location aside, the 1,350-square-foot loft is in a building from 1911 with some great Art Deco details and an industrial look. Inside, there’s concrete ceilings, exposed piping, and some brick accents.

The open floor plan means every room, except for the bathroom, is connected. While the listing lists zero bedrooms, it’s essentially on the Woodward-facing side of the loft. The kitchen has some nice cabinetry and tiled countertops. And spiral staircase grants rooftop access.

It also comes with one parking spot and HOA fees are $317 per month.
