A lot of work has gone into this home from 1925

Everything about this gorgeous Tudor in Palmer Woods seems fresh. That’s probably because it is.

According to city parcel data, the sellers bought the home in 2017 and have clearly spent their time restoring it. The home on Argyle Crescent s currently listed with City Living Detroit for $625,000.

A lot of the home has been updated or renovated. There’s refinished hardwood floors, new plumbing, landscaping, garage doors, light fixtures (and some electrical), and more.

The outside has the classic features of a Tudor: bay windows, decorative half-timbering, and strap-hinges on the front door.

Inside the 4,341-square-foot home, there’s great stucco walls and ceilings, a Pewabic-tile fireplace, and a brand new kitchen with a gas range built into the marble countertop—reclaimed from an old Stroh’s plant—which opens up nicely to the dining room.

The master bedroom also has (you guessed it) been redone, including a totally new bathroom with a glass shower door. In total, there are six bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. There’s also a detached three-car garage and a patio area in the sizable back yard.

The master bedroom has blue walls. There’s two leather chairs and the bed faces the bay windows.

The rear of the house has two patio areas, one with a stove, the other with seats and an awning. There’s also four deck chairs surrounding a fire pit.
