Pingree Park, the sometimes overlooked neighborhood north of the Villages, has streets lined with lovely homes, many over 100 years old. Homes just like this one that recently hit the market for $199,900.

This brown brick “colonial,” as described in the listing, is also bungalow-ish. Typical of the style, it has a wide front porch below a slow-pitch gable roof and dormer window.

Inside, you’ll find lots of intact wood on the floors, entryways, windows, stairway, baseboards, and a unique shelf built into a corner. The home also has some french doors, including one that leads to the in-law suite off the dining room.

In total, the 1,778-square-foot home comes with five bedroom and two full bathrooms—and the one upstairs has some Pewabic tile inlays. It’s also recently gotten some updates, including a new hot water heater, electrical, plumbing, gutters, and lead abatement.

4133 Burns Street is listed with David Bolling of Wayne Bolling Realty Group for $199,900.

The foyer has hardwood floors and a wood staircase leading to the second floor. A black chest sits against the wall.

The second-story landing has wood floors and white, built-in cabinets. Two open doors lead to two bedrooms.
The orange-tiled bathroom has a little white shower and sink.
