This time, the designer couple are selling their own home.
If you’ve been following coverage of our favorite home flippers in Detroit, then you know about their adorable, smart, and affordable renovations of homes in northwest Detroit. This time they’re selling the home they currently live in, so it’s got lots of personal touches. (But don’t worry, they’re still going to continue rehabbing homes here.)
This one, near Livernois Avenue and 8 Mile Road, just listed for $99,900.
The cottage has an attractive facade with some varied siding of turquoise vinyl, cedar shake accents, and imitation black stone. A little lounge area and wood fence separates the driveway from an additional two lots containing a huge and well-maintained garden.
Inside the 1,050-square-foot, three-bedroom home, the most striking feature is the custom wood ceiling that runs along the entirety of the open floor plan until it “descends” down the back wall of the master bedroom.
But there’s a lot more to like about this cozy residence. French doors lead to a nice little office off the living room. The new kitchen and bathroom feature subway tile backsplash. The finished second story has a lounge area and bedroom. Much of the furniture in the well decorated home is for sale. There’s also a new HVAC and water tank.
20226 Prairie Street is listed with Ashley Mann of Hall & Hunter Birmingham for $99,900.
