In a city with lots of charming, pre-war Tudor Revival’s, even this home on Three Mile Drive stands out. The lovely residence in Grosse Pointe Park, which dates back to the 1920s, has retained much of its character and original features.

The exterior has an attractive brick facade and tall chimney with three separate flues. It’s also on a sizable 0.57-acre lot that comes with some nice landscaping, a firepit, and an attached three-car garage.

But the over 4,000-square-foot, five-bedroom interior, which was recently restored with extreme attention to detail, is where this home truly shines. Note the stucco walls and ceilings; wide, arched entryways; beautifully glazed tile floors in the sunroom, screened-in porch, and vestibule; the barrel ceiling in the dining room; and much more.

The renovation also added some modern features, including a subway-tile walk-in shower to one of the three full bathrooms (the others have shimmering ceramic tiles), a media room set up for a projector, and a finished basement.

See the photos of this gorgeous home for yourself. 1169 Three Mile Drive is listed for $865,000 with Jimmy Saros of Saros Real Estate.
