Located in the Fisher Building, Workshop specializes in pieces made of reclaimed wood from around Detroit. Every piece comes with the address of the abandoned home the wood and items were came from. They sell dining room tables, along with side and console tables and flooring.

It's also right by the Pure Detroit outpost, which also has a variety of art, tiling, books, and more from around Detroit.

Woodward Throwbacks opened an expansive showroom in Hamtramck in 2017. Inside, you can find furniture made from reclaimed wood, along with fun decor and barware. They also offer workshops so you can learn how to make your own unique items for your home.

There’s several other vintage stores nearby in Hamtramck, like Detroit Threads and Tekla Village.

You can find a little bit of everything at Fred's Unique Antiques and Furniture. And if you find something you have to have, it's time to make a deal.

The big store on 8 Mile has two warehouses full of anything and everything you could want for your house—mattresses, sofas, tables, chairs, kitchen supplies, and so much wall art. A lot of the inventory comes from old hotels, but there are certainly some treasures to be found. Fred's has another store on Livernois near 8 Mile which is smaller, but spectacular in its own right.
